Joe Elliott Officially Announces New Def Leppard Album, World Tour, and Release Date…

Joe Elliott, the iconic frontman of Def Leppard, has officially announced the band’s upcoming concept album, *Echoes of the Future*, set for release on May 12, 2025. This marks Def Leppard’s first conceptual album in over two decades, signaling a bold new direction for the legendary rock band.

 

*Echoes of the Future* explores futuristic themes, delving into topics such as technology, societal changes, and the consequences of a rapidly evolving world. Elliott described the project as “one of our most personal and dynamic records yet,” combining punchy rock anthems with deep, introspective ballads. The album blends rock, electronic, and orchestral elements into a unique sonic experience, with each track contributing to an overarching narrative.

In support of the new album, Def Leppard will embark on a massive world tour beginning in the spring of 2025. The tour will bring their electrifying performances to audiences across North America, Europe, and Asia. Fans can expect to hear classic hits like “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Rock of Ages,” along with fresh tracks from *Echoes of the Future*. In addition to the album and tour announcements, Def Leppard has released a cover of Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me” to support FireAid, an organization that supports victims of the L.A. wildfires in January 2025
