Imagine Dragons have officially announced the release of their upcoming album, *Reflections (from the Vault of Smoke + Mirrors)*, set to debut on February 21, 2025. This special edition commemorates the 10th anniversary of their 2015 album *Smoke + Mirrors* and features 14 previously unreleased demos
The announcement was made via the band’s official Instagram account, where they shared, “Reflections (from the Vault of Smoke + Mirrors) with 14 unreleased demos. Full album out 2/21, available for pre-order now” . Fans can look forward to tracks that delve deeper into the band’s creative process during the *Smoke + Mirrors* period.
In addition to the digital release, physical editions of the album will be available on April 25, 2025. These include a 1LP ocean blue vinyl and a limited edition 3LP box set titled *Smoke + Mirrors Ten*, which encompasses the new *Reflections* vinyl, 14 unreleased demos, and six exclusive lithographs featuring original and reimagined artwork by Tim Cantor .
The band has also been engaging fans through an alternate reality game (ARG) leading up to the album’s release. On February 4, 2025, they teased on social media: “Scratch the mirror’s surface where the game is played – therein lies the treasure, an early look Dan made.” This led fans to a Unity game titled “Reflections,” uploaded by frontman Dan Reynolds, featuring levels with brand-new demos playing throughout. Out of 23 unheard demos discovered, 12 are included in the *Reflections* album .
As Imagine Dragons continue to explore new creative avenues, guitarist Wayne Sermon shared insights into their evolving sound, stating, “We are exploring a lot of different options, including parting things back a lot — just trying new things and seeing what sticks” .
